Plot / Content:                              Rating: E

Pulp fiction combining explicit erotic sex with dramatic tension, with twenty-four year-old Todd in love with seventeen year-old Felix. "Todd was white and Felix was black and Felix's militant brother was determined that none of his family was ever going to be exploited by the whites, especially sexually. But that obstacle was insignificant compared to the age-old enemy that transcends race and time: the re-appearance of a former lover, and the agonizing struggle between the present and the past.

"A passionate story, told with clear insight, of the confusions of the heart. The theme is homosexual, but the truths are universal."

"Cranking the shower handles, letting the water slide down him in a warm wet caress, Todd realized, not for the first time, that Felix had wisdom, a kind of hard-headed practicality that he, Todd, lacked - though Felix was no more than a kid and Todd was twenty-four. "
